Dear colleagues!

A heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in the conference!

The conference took place on June 3–5, 2026 in Minsk.

Conference topics:

1. Genomics of microorganisms and viruses.
2. Metagenetic and metagenomic studies of microbial communities. The microbiome of humans, plants, and livestock.
3. Genetic and metabolic engineering of microorganisms. Legal aspects of the use of genetically engineered microorganisms. Biosafety.
4. Bioinformatic tools for the analysis and modeling of biological systems.

Organizers:

• Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus,
• National Academy of Sciences of Belarus,
• Belarusian Public Association “Microbiological Society”,

with the support of the Department of Biological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

About 70 representatives of scientific and educational institutions, industrial enterprises and the business community from Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan took part in the conference.
